I am glad 2008 was over. It was a wierd year but I am starting 2009 with absolutely nothing planned. I am going take everyday as it comes. I havent blogged for a while reason being

Blogging is dead

Twittering is the current big thing

Its all about people browsing tomorrow

So I am sad to say that I wouldnt be blogging (not much anyways) and would try to integrate twitter to this website.

Well normal people do not boast but then again I have struggled a lot to reach this far in life so there is nothing wrong in boasting about the fact that I am working for the 23rd most admired company in the world (Source : Fortune Magazine)

So this means that i have swam across all my hurdles to have finally changed. Yeah so here is to the change that you cant put in vending machines…………..

To all the wannabee’s who still kinda following this blog, I would like to say I will be back soon. Just a quick update though , It has been raining crazy here but I dont care because there are bigger fishes in the water and I cant seem to swim in that watter. So hopefully I can learn to swim or else I have got to close down this blog because there isnt much fun otherwise.

2007: My Year in Review

Well it’s that time of the year again to contemplate on things of the past year like 2006, 2005 and 2004. Honestly this year passed by like a flash. The best thing about this year is that I am in a much better situation than same time last year. Feelin a little empty bcoz the year is gonna end but can’t wait for 2008 though.

Here is the gist of my year month by month

January 2007

2007 began with a hangover. I spent the first morning with one of the worst feelings ever thanx to one of the wildest nights but everything subsided. Nothing else of interest really happened in January.

February 2007

February was an interesting month because I had many new acquaintances and had a decent social life.

March 2007

March was one of the best months of the year bcoz I spent most of the month back home in Chennai. Did have the best culinary experiences ever there. When I returned back to Hamburg, Everything looked perfect.

April 2007

Was preparing hard for the Hamburg Marathon but didn’t prepare harder so have to wait till next year to run the marathon. I only wished that I was this fit for the rest of the year.

May 2007

Turned a year older and had one of the better birthdays. Was waitin for summer but was deceived by the rain. One of the summers to forget (weather wise) but no regrets, cigarettes and brunettes.

June 2007

Spent my first part of June in Ilmenau smoking weed but it was an interesting experience though. Learned a lot about everything and also had some great new acquaintances.

July 2007

One of the best July’s ever thanx to Katie Melua and Shakira. That was my first and only concert and it was memorable. I also realized that I was much better than God in Mini Golf.

August 2007

The Crazy Times began in August as I had to finish my thesis. Thanx to my slackness everythin came and bit me at the end but still didn’t matter. I was this close to going crazy but to come to think about it now, it’s alright.

September 2007

I spent most of the month volunteering for the Hamburg Film Fest and by watching the best movies from across the globe. Played my first poker tournament and didn’t fare well but hey winning isn’t everything right? I’ll definitely win sometime.

October 2007

October was the month of being pissed offs as many people pissed me off in October so I rather forgot that this month ever existed.

November 2007

Even though I was mostly sick in November, it was a special month because I wrote the first page of my book.

December 2007

December 2007 has got to be the best months ever because I finally managed to finish with my course. There were times during the last 3 years that I would have just lost it but thank goodness I didn’t. Had dreamt of changing my style but finally managed to do it. And my book was getting interesting. Eventhough the first part of my book is over but there is always a sequel.

My Rating for December - 9.99 (the closest thing to perfection)

Summary for 2007

Honestly I wouldn’t have thought 2007 would be a great year after my 1st of Jan morning experiences. What I realized in 2007 is that There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way… It feels a little empty in the last days of the year but I am so looking forward to 2008.

Prospects for 2008

2008 is definitely gonna be my year because New Year, New Apartment, New Job, New Style so it basically means a new life. I also hope to write the second chapter of my book. 2008 is gonna be my renascence for sure so just Bling it On….
